Oyler Performance
This is how we see cars, trucks and parts. Our take on full car builds and the parts we make in house to help the builds along. At the speed shop we do a huge range of work on cars and trucks. Oyler Performance is our builds and our parts.

Oyler Performance builds are full builds of cars and trucks. We either take it all the way back to metal or we start with a painted body. In these builds we touch everything, motor trans, wiring, interior, brakes, and suspension all geared towards our “style” of car. We build them in a spirit of driving, cutting the Colorado mountain roads, vintage style, race car function wrapped in a show car finish.

Oyler Performance parts very simply are the parts we make in house for our full builds and for customers that want high quality, handmade performance parts. Many of the parts we make are answers to questions of quality and strength we can’t find over the counter. We try to make everything a little stronger and a little nicer than the mainstream market. From our old school Monte Carlo bars to new school adjustability in our modern Mustang rear shock tower brace. We try to solve problems with quality and style.

Shock Tower Brace

These replace the flimsy sheet metal braces. With a fully bolt on, amazingly strong, and great looking aluminum. Made of 1/4” aluminum plate, bolting to the factory location, solid .750” bar fitted with left and right handed Heim joints for easy on car adjustments. Tapered spacers are included to help with geometry of the joint. Shipped with mounting hardware.

Monte Carlo Bar

Custom made Monte Carlo Bar for 1964-68 Mustang. 1” DOM, .120” main wall welded to 12GA steel. Designed to help your ride maintain proper alignment in those tight corners.

Here at the speed shop we pride ourselves on making as many hand made custom parts as we can for your car or motorcycle. Made in house we get to control fit, quality and you get a one of a kind American made part.

Welding Table for Better, Stronger Parts

Anything we can, we put on the welding table. Even the basic bar structure for a truck bed goes on our welding table. It helps control heat, squares the part, and holds it while its being tig welded. Making a much better, stronger part.

Air Cleaner Nut

A great example of custom parts are these air filter hood downs. Made of one piece of aluminum, a long female thread is used to secure the air cleaner and the outside is knurled for easy grip. Topped off with a rubber base to keep unfiltered air out and help the air filter not vibrate loose.

Door Lock Handle

Another cool thing is these aluminum door locks. it is easy to find cheaply made door locks. These are hand made, for the exact fir of your car. Just a few small examples of the hand made, custom parts we love making here.

Above you see some custom wheel caps we made for a very custom car. The car is a late model HellCat wrapped in a 1969 RoadRunner body. Very cool car! It has late model style wheels and the customer wanted a more “old school” center cap. We machined these out of blocks of aluminum, machined in the rubber o-ring area for the mount and then polished them. We blasted in the ‘69 RoadRunner logo to finish them off.
